Even before finding yoga, Catherine’s academic pursuits prepared her to do transformational work. Graduating from Drake University, Catherine was a mere 16 credits shy of three degrees in musical theatre, journalism, and environmental science/ecology. While Catherine holds her degree in Journalism, the way she carries herself is the result of her diverse interests and explorations. After harnessing the power of storytelling and cultivating a deep understanding of interconnection in the natural world , Catherine found a seamless congelation of the themes in her individual yoga practice, and eventually, her teaching.
Since becoming certified in 2017, Cat has served as a renowned guide for yoga asana, kriya, and meditation, teaching multitudinous class forms and sizes; from sold out Yoga on the Rocks to private sessions for the Denver Broncos.
After facilitating the growth of numerous yoga studios and teacher training programs in Denver, Colorado, Cat’s passion took her out of the corporate sphere and into the wild; where she found her calling creating immersive yoga experiences on an international scale.
Her work is more than instructional; it is devotional, radical, and liberatory, drawing from not only the sacred teachings within her unbroken Himalayan Tantric Kriya lineage, but her whole life.
“Seek was founded to truly raise the global consciousness.”
Through profound teachings that have stood the test of time, and an active passion for life long learning, Catherine continues to choose liberation for herself and share it with others. Her work will always be a reflection of where she is at, taught with the utmost heart and clarity.
That said, Seek does not just offer one off classes, retreats, or trainings. Seek offers portals, alive with breath, story, sweat, and silence. Students won’t just learn about yoga; they will become it.
